Achieving Global Community Health Through Innovation and Interprofessional Collaboration
Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Syiah Kuala, has successfully held the Aceh International Nursing Conference (AINC) activities for four consecutive years since 2018. In previous events, we welcomed speakers, researchers, professionals, students, and practitioners from across the globe to our AINC. This year, we are also delighted to welcome all participants to our event despite the global pandemic challenges that we are still experiencing today. Under this circumstance we will still put our passion to conduct the 5th AINC successfully. We are confident that the event will provide a great contribution to the global health community.
We saw the enthusiasm of participants for the conference, both from domestic and overseas, despite the COVID-19 pandemic conditions and carried out virtually in 2020-2021. Therefore, the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Syiah Kuala, will resume its fifth AINC hybrid (online and offline) on September 29th – 30th, 2022 by presenting speakers from Indonesia and other countries.
We are still in the midst of facing a global pandemic that challenges every aspect of our lives including the health sector. Our researchers, scientists and practitioners from various disciplines are working together to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus. We need to put all of our efforts to end this pandemic situation. As part of the global citizen and healthcare system, our efforts and contribution are urgently needed to help our community to become healthier despite the current situation. Hence, our AINC theme for this year is “Achieving Global Community Health Through Innovation and Professional Collaboration”. Through the conference, the participants will not only meet friends, colleagues, and partners from all around the world but also share their research publications, experiences, and learn on how to help our community to become healthier.

Welcome message from Chair of the 5Th AINC
It is a great pleasure and honor to invite you to The 5Th Aceh International Nursing Conference (AINC) which will take place in Banda Aceh on September 29 and 30, 2022. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of the Executive Committee of this conference, distinguished speakers, participants, and colleagues to join this important conference in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This conference is held annually by Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Syiah Kuala. The last two years, the conferences were held virtually due to global pandemic situation. Fortunately, this upcoming conference will facilitate online and offline participation for various professional.

Our researchers, scientists and practitioners from various disciplines are working together to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus. To that end, I would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan, vices Rector of Universitas Syiah Kuala, the dean, and vices dean of Faculty of Nursing, for supporting us during the whole process of the conference. My very special thanks to all the steering, organizing, and scientific committee of the 5th AINC who have given their best for this event. We hope that this conference presents your wonderful experiences to new insights and friendship congregated during the event. We look forward to welcoming you in Aceh.

About AINC
We are pleased to invite you to participate on The 5th Aceh International Nursing Conference that annually organized by Faculty of Nursing Universitas Syiah Kuala on September 2022. This year, the conference theme is “Achieving Global Community Health Through Innovation and Interprofessional Collaboration”. We accept abstracts and papers for oral and poster presentation from researchers, academicians, practitioners, policy makers, students, and other stakeholders in nursing and health sciences from around the world.
